And the New Student Branch Awards Go to ...

... the IEEE Student Branch at the Johannes Kepler University Linz.

After intensive work the student branch awards have been redesigned and for the first time 3 awards for innovation, development and activities have been announced this year. For details on these awards check our award page.

The jury deemed the set activities to allow a smooth handover when volunteers change as valuable contribution to the development for student branches. Especially for a student branch there is a relative high fluctuation in functions and we see the Linz Cook-Book as a good initiative to preserve knowledge between "generations". The Student Branch Linz therefore receives the first IEEE Austria Student Branch Development award.

Additionally, the Student Branch Linz was able to show a continuous high level in activities, which was honored by an IEEE Austria Student Branch Activities award.
